Celebrating 75 Summers of Smiles Together 

The 2024 annual team member picnic at Kennywood Park in Pittsburgh, PA was a day full of celebration, especially as we mark our 75th anniversary in business together all year long! Team members and their family and friends spent a hot summer day connecting and having fun.  
The festivities began early with exclusive early ride access for our team members and their guests. The thrill of zooming on the Thunderbolt before the park even opened to the public – now that’s a way to kick off a day of fun! And there's no better way to bond as a team than screaming together on the Steel Phantom!  
With more than 1,200 team members and their family members and friends in attendance, the park was buzzing with activity. In addition to the amusement park rides and fun, our special guests were also treated to free face painting, caricatures, airbrush tattoos, and balloon animals.  
The fun didn’t stop there. Our mascot dance party had everyone on their feet, grooving with Smiley and friends, Iceburgh and the Pirate Parrot. One of the day’s highlights was our Egg Toss. With nearly 100 participants, the competition was fierce, and the real winners were everyone who enjoyed the most egg-citing show as spectators! To finish this jam-packed day of fun, team members were on the edge of their seats during our Great Raffle, where more than 50 fabulous prizes were up for grabs.  
 

Our Kennywood Team Member Summer Picnic, along with our summer picnics at Dorney Park (Allentown, PA) and Knoebels Park (Elysburg, PA), was more than just a company picnic; it was a celebration of our incredible team and all the joy they bring to our workplace.
